Supergrip have completed the delivery of a further 8-off J-Tube Seal Assemblies. These particular assemblies were of a passive design and fitted with Supergrips patented bend restrictor assembly.

Gordon Conlon, Director at Supergrip, stated “We have been supplying a wide range of J-Tube Seals to the market this year of varying designs including ROV and diver activated systems. This particular design was Supergrips passive design which removes any subsea activation requirement. The client specified paint system was a little different to the norm and I had to be convinced that it didnt need a top colour applying. Our passive design of J-Tube Seal offers a number of features that we believe sets us aside from our competitors. These features improve the sealing capability and limit the topside pull-in force. In amongst a few of our other products, we already have a number of contracts for further J-Tube Sealing systems on our order book to keep us busy as we progress into the summer months. The guys are telling me that they are so busy that as can be seen from the photograph Sheldon has had to engage the services of his daughter, Winter, to help them out”
