Supergrip has recently completed its largest contract to date, delivering over £1.7million worth of hardware for a global Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning (EPIC) company within the oil and gas industry.
The project involved the delivery of a £1.7 million hardware project to the supply platform and Net hardware for a major operator’s platform project based in the Caspian Sea.
From start to finish Supergrip’s project engineer Joe Griffiths, worked closely with the end client, ensuring the successful delivery of numerous large, fabricated fairleads and bend shoes all with internal rope liners manufactured in conjunction with our parent company, Nylacast.
Additionally, Supergrip provided, large precision machined super duplex connectors and clevises, hydraulic tensioners and tensioning equipment, hydraulic winches, bespoke spherical bearings, and a whole range of rigging solutions and tool kits.
Throughout the project, full project management activities were performed, including comprehensive documentation packages providing details on material traceability, manufacturing & test records.
